Isah Alsahi is a contemporary artist, illustrator and activist, debuted in Los Angeles with his first Spring/Summer collection in 2013. The capsule included high-quality concept wear and accessories made up of monochromatic elements, unorthodox textures and soft silhouettes. Isah Alsahi meticulously selected superior materials such as peruvian cotton, leather and heavyweight denim. The head-to-toe looks were completed with unique pieces including eyewear from African ebony wood, handmade leather bracelets, hats and sneakers. Every item resembled an art form perfected by bleaching, waxing and dyeing procedures.
In 2016, Isah Alsahi and his wife moved to Canada and opened a boutique in the heart of Downtown Ottawa that gave locals their impression of aesthetic excellence.
In 2018, Isah Alsahi launching the “ABSENCE”, an intentional clothing line using creative, abstract and edgy prints such as “Eyewash Station” to portray societal concepts of identity and consciousness.
The "Michele Lamy” print created in 2019 is an art form with purpose, about purpose. It took its deep inspiration from the fashion icon it's named after, and asks whoever wears it "What are we fighting for?". The capsule was successfully sold out through online platforms and multi-brand stores in Europe, US and Canada in 3 weeks.
The brand continues to carve an international presence as its creations are donned by celebrities, and showcased in boutiques around the world.
